Working on the Plymouth Concert Band (PCB) posters, concert programs, and other marketing materials was a great place for me to stretch as a designer and have a bit of fun. It offered me a great place to play with type and layout.

The idea behind the newer poster style was to bring a consistency to the layout as a way to build audience recognition of the PCB brand, and to make the design process more efficient for myself.

Plymouth Concert Band High School Soloist Competition
As a way to give back to the music community, the PCB sponsors a soloist competition for high school musicians in the metro area. The winner of the competition gets to perform during the final PCB concert of the season. The young musicians receive a scholarship to use toward their future music education.
